Part of the 1700 Series, the ‘Director’s Edition’ was age in ex-sherry casks and is one of two special editions that were released in late 2011.
The other was the ‘Master’s Edition’ age in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
Both of these whiskies were NAS and were reportedly discontinue a few years later.
At the time of writing, this is first time we’ve seen this bottling surface from the secondary market.
