Part of EWC’s small batch release, with an outturn of 1438 bottles. Distilled 2011 and bottled 2017. Matured in an x Bourbon cask.
Tasting note: [20ml sample] Wait five minutes for superb fragrances of apple, pear, vanilla and beeswax to build. On the palate, it’s fresh and lively, the orchard fruits toned down a notch. Instead there’s nuances of tea biscuits and lemon sponge cake. Crisp, lean and dry through the aftertaste, this should appeal to lovers of Clynelish. 46% Alc./Vol.
